Yet another delayed posting.
All this Order 1886 art bouncing around has had me wanting to revisit making some slightly more monstery werewolves and nail down how I want them to look. Specifically, I do want them to look as though they're comfortable as both bipedal and quadrupedal critters.
Until now I've been just doing whatever looks right at the moment, but I think this has led to some inconsistency and at times anatomical issues. I may be doing more studies and anatomy breakdowns after this to sorta "formalize" it.
Per usual I am open to constructive critique.
a little bit, mostly just the "knuckle-walking" stance. I did a bit of a mashup in the shoulder anatomy between canine and human, though.
Yeah I can see all of that here. Perhaps if you combined canine features with Ardipithecus Ramidus (the first biped in our genetic line) it'd cut out the middle man of gorillas? These ancestors walked quadrupedal in trees but bipedal on ground

I mean I still think it looks great, I was just thinking maybe my random useless knowledge of anthropology could help

If I might ask, did you base this off of the anatomy for gorillas?
