Much like the Semi Drivers on the ground, the Pilots of the "Pelican II" travel long distances between DE-owned planets, transferring cargo from one planet to anouther. It's a lonely profession, but it's vital to the Economy, meaning high pay for these loner pilots.

The "Pelican II" has many new innovations, among these are AVD, Long Range Communications Antennae and a new carrying system that separates the front from the rear of the craft and holds the cargo in the middle, allowing for less of a chance of pirates making off with the cargo.
