The RAAM Launcher destroys aircraft not with powerful missiles, but with the sheer volume of missiles in the air to overcome any countermeasures. The missiles are small and compact enough to be stored in a large clip system, only needing propellent, the warhead and optical targeting system. Though the cons are a shorter operating range, the "Fester"s can make up for it with it's longer barrels, rounding off and completing the DE's AA Defenses.

The RAAM is a staple of Close-in Defenses of the DE Navy, and moving into the DE Space Forces with it's combat effectiveness. It utilizes AVD, Comms Antennas, Clip System and UTM.
