Having two different classes of Naval ships allows for one class to have maximum firepower and for one to be very versatile and fast. The "Swordfish" sacrifices firepower for Speed and Maneuverability, making it perfect for interception of enemy forces and assaulting light defenses.

The "Swordfish" has many offensive capabilities like Torpedoes, Depth Charges, ASM & STGM, SAC/STS Cannon and STS Cannons. To defend itself it depends on RAAM, AIGs, MIGs and Flares to keep it afloat and still able to do damage. For operational purposes, it also carries AVD, Comm Towers and a Helipad.
