Okay, oh man.
I'll be honest, I really struggled with this one on a lot of levels! Dealing with such well-established characters was definitely part of it, but for some reason the pacing of it all really killed me as well. Granted, I was working through an art block as I chipped away at this. It ended up taking me about two weeks, yikes! Way overdue.
Overall I'm happy with it. And my collaboration partner Jarggy was VERY pleased with the final result, so I've at least got that going for me! (This was mostly for him, haha.) He did the cover art, and you can see his post of it here!
