I was commissioned by Kalika and her hubby Nace to make a cake for their baby shower :) They wanted a leopard print cake, and this was the end result!

Originally, it was supposed to have been a stacked/tiered cake, but in the end, we decided to keep the two side-by-side instead, I'm kinda glad we did, cuz it took *forever* to colour those leopard rosettes on the cake! XD

The small cake is 9" and the larger one is 12". The cake is vanilla, with vanilla buttercream (both are homemade from scratch), and I used Vanilla flavoured Satin Ice fondant, and I coloured it myself.

And the suprise inside? It's leopard print on the INSIDE OF THE CAKE too! =D Rather than typing up a novel on how I did this, you can see how I made it by watching this video, which is where I learned how to do it in the first place:

The cake turned out extremely well, and were the talk of the party, which made me really happy and totally worth all the work that went into making it :)

...now if I only I can get used to using GIMP as my art/photo program >.> LOL!
