Here's the conbook cover I made for What the Fur :)

Well, actually, this is the ORIGINAL piece of it. I actually made two versions: I made the original and inked it, and then I made a copy of the original, and coloured the copy using markers and Photoshopped "gold", so that it wold be easier to scan in, and to print out onto the book. The copy also features digital fonts, so that we had an English and French version, one on one side of the book, the other on the other side of the book. I made it like that because gold doesn't scan in well, it usually turns out black because my scanner hates metallics.

The original was then gilded with genuine 23.75k gold leaf (yes, REAL gold is on this piece!), and then painted with gouache. So, what you see here is the original piece, not the one featured on the actual conbook, which has much bolder colours, as well as the shiny gold :)
