Ah, thank you! I'll have to keep that in mind. I would mess with it on this painting, but windows auto update made me loose the .SAI file with the layers... ;a;

I love spacey background and the whispyness of the drifloon. My only comment is the colors. As a tip, never use all black or all white to shade things. It can make the image look dull. Try playing with complimentary colors for shading.
In the following image, I took a normal egg and saturated it to show more color to explain.

Notice how the dark parts are actually slightly orange and the light parts are slightly blue.
All light and shading will be complimentary like this, but it's very subtle.
If this is too confusing or you'd like some more help, feel free to message me. It can be kinda a difficult concept to explain.
I see potential here, though. :)
