I love spacey background and the whispyness of the drifloon. My only comment is the colors. As a tip, never use all black or all white to shade things. It can make the image look dull. Try playing with complimentary colors for shading.

Notice how the dark parts are actually slightly orange and the light parts are slightly blue.
All light and shading will be complimentary like this, but it's very subtle.
