Results:

As shown, Serling has proved highly adaptable and even useful for the objectives of the experiments. However, all attempts to distract from the subject of compensation failed; to bargain for his continued service to science, #14 demanded a check, then an increase, then another increase, then benefits, then patent rights for the thermostat, then a pony.

Conclusion: Furato is banned from future experiments.
