"What is "Henosis?"

"Henosis (Greek: ἕνωσις), is the word for 'oneness,' 'union,' or 'unity' in classical Greek. The goal of Henosis 'unity, oneness' is union with what is fundamental in reality: the Source or Monad. Each individual as a microcosm reflects the gradual ordering of the universe referred to as the macrocosm. In mimicking the divine mind, one unites with The One or Monad. Thus the process of unification is called Henosis. This relates to the concept of an external creator with themselves as creators, builders, craftsmen of their own lives, understanding the interdependence between the macro and microcosmic as the source of their activities."
