October 2013, I had to comfort a very sweet friend I had made the summer prior. He had gotten beaten up walking out of class one day, and I was his anchor to sanity. When I had initially met this individual, I had fallen in love with his characters, from the soul he put into Emily Bloodhound's eyes, to the adorable, almost-childlike innocence of Mighty Mouse that he had reflected in Michelle Mouse. As a result of this artistic connection, I took it upon myself to give him the liberty to utilize Kira in private works as Emily's undead guardian and lover. May many more escapades between them make their presence known, as I have made as much of an impact on the lives of the artist and his friends. This is for you, my brothers.
This picture was drawn as a "thank-you" to me the week he had got beat up. Words cannot describe how utterly beautiful this picture is, and how much it means to me. I had always considered myself to be a comforting friend in high school, and this reminded me of the goth girls I comforted at times.

In this ode to how big of a heart Kira has around those he loves, the artist drew Kira dressing Emily's wounds, much like I helped him heal from the scars he gained during the beating.

Henry, you are my brother and family, as are the others I know. Nothing and no one will change how much I care to comfort you guys.
