made a picture so i could practice painting fire in Photoshop
decided to try and practice using Illustrator as well so I made this lettering too, as well as digitizing my signature

the flames were rendered in greyscale and then had a gradient map applied to them
then a few Linear dodge layers were added on top of it to make the fire glowier, including layers for the "centers" of each flame which had like circular gradients in them
