a few weeks ago, while trying to use the bathroom, i caught a glimpse of something crawling across the wall.
… turns out it was a hallucination?? or something like that, because it disappeared right in front of my eyes when i looked at it.
I remembered what it looked like though, so here it is.
I interpreted it then as a mix between a gecko and a cockroach, and it looked like it was made of rubber, like some kind of animated bug toy

Looks like it may have actually been a house centipede. Super fast. Clearish looking with a high sheen. Looks a bit like that. TERRIFIED of light. And anything really. They're mostly harmless, and because of how their lungs work (open) they prefer damp places to avoid dehydration so bathrooms are a pretty good place to spot one. Apparently their sting CAN be like a bee sting but it's very hard for them to pierce human skin, and they're terrified of us.
