An older photo (it's kind of crappy), but I wanted to post SOMETHING since I'm finally getting over being sick.

This tiny, beautiful jumping spider is Phidippus audax, otherwise known by the boring names "daring jumping spider", or "bold jumping spider". A few days ago there was one on the hutch in the kitchen, which made me remember this picture. These little guys are adorable, and well... they are quite bold. They don't have any qualms with being handled, and I've never had one get defensive. Watching them skitter about on my arm has always brought a smile to my face.
