I’m having a really hard time digging for “creepy” photos for halloween. I just don’t have things that feel spooky to me. People are still afraid of spiders though.

This is my chaco golden knee (Grammostola pulchripes), Lupe, before his final molt. He was sold to me as a female, but uh.. after that final molt it was pretty dang obvious he was male. I was told to expect him to die within a couple months because of his refusal to eat, being too preoccupied searching for a mate. That was in early 2013. He’s still chillin’, eats very rarely, but is always out and about. Super gentle guy, so SO soft. He is one cool dude.
