i had to re-imagine this in my head with several variations. my first version started with a scene of her being surrounded by "high tech for dummies" books and trying to make a new mech suite for risker. but it all felt cheap and unbelievable.

now with the whole "you need proper training" angle i can give her a better story arc to become the "tech bunny" i want her to be
