This started as "Damn, I need to practice drawing hands" and then "Damn, I need to practice watercolors".
The scanner did wash out the colors quite a bit, but that just means I need to work with stronger color-washes, I think.

The end-result: I'm happy with it, but tips and tricks for working with watercolors are welcome. o 3 o

Material used: Winsor&Newton watercolors
Time taken: From sketch to finish about 3h.

Scanners destroy watercolors, even stronger colors. :/

      Pfffsh, really? Damn. :c
I thought using stronger colors would help because when processing this piece in Photoshop, some colors just plain disappeared on me.

I just take photos of my work (I actually should retake some) because the colors retain better, but it takes longer since you have get the lighting right...
Scanners dull out strong colors and completely eat the light ones, seems to be the worst media to scan, next to colored pencils.
