Twilight enjoying her morning tea while catching up with the letters she has been getting in the past few days and Spike eagerly recounting his adventures whilst doing his morning shopping. ~

My headcanon view of Twilight and Spike some years later after Twilight becoming a princess. Spike would be now working as a close counselor, advisor of sorts, and reporting to Twilight everything interesting (and probably not that interesting too) that's happening in Ponyville.
Also Twilight would just start to tie her mane up on a ponytail or a bun to get it out of her way while not in public.

I'm not quite sure if I vision Spike with wings or not, maybe he would grow them when older??? Dunno :I
