The legendary hitwoman herself, involuntarily retired through subterfuge and explosives but given unlife as a Reaper thanks to her job giving her sway over enough Dominant Souls to become a Reaper. Also, Creme's mother, who the Cinderace feels obligated to live up to despite that being Vanillin's major regret, to saddle her daughter with a nigh-impossible legacy over her head.

While according to arcane rules she cannot show herself to her own daughter (though it's highly implied that she does this out of shame and the Ghost Rules were made up as a means of coping), she still manages to cross paths with Creme's employers through Vanillin's squad of misfit Reapers, Fireteam G.R.I.M.. Of the Teammates not in Team Dark, only Sammy has met Vanillin, his forgetfulness being the sole reason Vanillin feels comfortable talking to him.
