Apparently June 5th is Vulpix day on Twitter? The Japanese hashtag is ロコンの日 or Rokon no hi. Dunno if there's some Japanese wordplay I'm missing but I decided to draw a Vulpix similar to Walt Kelly Pogo style.

"Rokon" (ロコン) is also a form of goroawase (wordplay involving numbers).
"Ro" ➡ ロ (ro) ➡ 六 (ro; the number 6)
"Kon" ➡ コン (kon) ➡ コ (ko) ➡ ゴ (go) ➡ 五 (go; the number 5)
Therefore, June 5th would be Vulpix day, and by extension, September 5th would be Ninetales day. Sorry about posting the same comment three times, I'm bad at proofreading my own posts. 😅
