This is a Flash animation I plan on working on over the summer. I once animated Shank dancing for a school project years ago, and I thought it'd be neat to revisit that, only this time have him do tons of dances over the decades. These are some rough sketches I did just to get a feel of Shank in different dance poses before I start drawing them out in Flash.

Here's the sequences I'm planning.

50's: Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and his Comets, dancing the hand jive.

60's: Do the Twist by Chubby Checker, dancing the Twist of course!

70's: You Should be Dancing by the Beegees, dancing disco style.

80's: Thriller by Michael Jackson, doing the Thriller dance and other Jackson moves like the Moonwalk. Incidentally, platypuses have pretty creepy looking skeletons.

90's: The Macarena by Los del Río. You would have to be stupid not to be able to guess what dance Shank will do here.

2000: Haven't decided on a song or dance here yet, although I'm considering Single Ladies by Beyoncé.

Modern times: Gangnam Style by Psy. Need I say more?
