If you look up artwork of eastern dragons, they're often depicted chasing after or holding pearls. These pearls are valuable treasures that are meant to symbolize wisdom and enlightenment. So what would Basho, Hwang, and Yan do if they ever came into possession of one of these pearls? They'd turn these pearls into playthings. A bit frivolous, but many furries and scalies are enamored by shiny objects. And sorry, these aren't the wish granting types of pearls like the Dragon Balls. They're just very expensive dragon toys.

Thanks to LelouchUtsukukitsu and ChiefScarneck for their help translating "maws or paws?" into Japanese. Since the words "kuchi" and "ashi" sort of rhyme, I was curious if there could be a way this meme could be written in Japanese.
