I drew this last October or November and was meant to be a companion piece to my Election Day drawing of Joe Mallard. https://www.weasyl.com/~guineapigdan/submissions/1962185/joe-mallard-for-president But I didn't manage to color this in time for November 5th, and I moved on to working on other drawings instead. I thought I might as well post this in my scraps/sketches folder anyway. For those of you who don't know, Guy Fawkes is a figure from British history who tried to blow up parliament and replace it with a Catholic state in 1605, but his gunpowder plot was stopped and now the Fifth of November is celebrated with British people burning effigies of Fawkes. Today however, he's become a symbol of anarchy thanks to the comic V for Vendetta by Alan Moore, and its 2006 movie adaptation that Moore disavows but has never seen. Domino the guinea pig and Tyler the thylacine want to try and be cool and pull some mischief like the organization Anonymous. Tyler thinks of undermining powerful religious or government institutions, but Domino prefers doing a fat fur revolution. Stop the corporations from hoarding all the food from hungry furries!
