United States, 22,000 A.D.

MviluUatusun

This is a map of the United States of America in the year 22,000 A. D. You'll note that many of the borders are significantly different. This is because, after the fall of humans in the year 5,000 A. D., a created species took over and redrew the state lines making them a bit more logical. In my description to the artist I made a couple of mistakes. First of all, New Mexico as shown here should be a part of Texas, along with the Oklahoma panhandle. Second, Georgia and South Carolina would be merged into one province (no states under the new species), Third, the upper peninsula of Michigan would be a part of Wisconsin. Also, all cities and provinces would be given animal or plant related names, i.e. Moo York, New Pawleans, Catlanna, Jaguarville, Cowlumbus, Acorn, Tapir, Mahi, etc. Anyone who'd like to make suggestions for city and province names, please feel free to do so.
