Star serpents are a species I've fiddled with for about seven years now.
Feel free to make one of your own if you want, as long as you credit me for the species and show me cause i wanna see
I hope to revisit this with more detail and cleaner lines when my drawing hand is more cooperative, but I wanted to share it.

Star Serpents range from about 7-11 feet tall. They don't really have a lot of variation in body type, though they may be softer or more cut in their musculature. They live almost entirely on one large, high-protein fruit that evolved alongside them. Most of their religions are based around it.
They don't really have genders but would say "oh cool" if one lays a viable egg.
Their tongues aren't flexible enough for speech, so they use sign language. They can do sign language with their feet if needed too.
Enough of their brain mass is in the brainstem that they can survive without a head, but obviously not in the same capacity as with one.
Their skin is like a more reptilian version of sharkskin, with a spur on each almost-microscopic scale. Their digits have slightly clingy scales to help them grip when they climb, though of course not nearly enough to support their massive weight on their own. There are some of these scales on the tip of the tail too.
They live across the warmer climes of the planet in the distant future, and have many different color patterns that are dominant in different regions.

I don't like to call them anthro but it's relatively fitting
