Commission; Full body, 2 character + detailed background, basic shading, digital media.
A friend of mine asked me to do this commission for them, giving me a short account of the characters history to help with the imagery;
"The great war was a battle between kitsuna and all other Suna's, and the human Lords who sought to enslave them all. In the world the war Lords are fighting for, there is no place for anyone who isn't human. After months of constant fighting, one of Lords was finally killed. That death also came at a great cost as one of the entire kitsuna clans was wiped out, apart from two young female friends.
It is early autumn and the leaves are golden and beginning to fall from their branches. Those two friends sit beneath the trees in traditional Japanese clothing, basking in the golden light from the setting sun. They both now seek for peace, not just for them, but for their children who are both cubs, now without fathers."
