She's been a long time in the making, and she's my FIRST ever fursuit head I've made, but she's finally done!
My Grizzly bear fursona.
I was aiming for both semi-toony and semi-realistic. Everything I made myself, the resin mask, resin eyes, epoxy eyelids, resin and hand painted jaw set, silicone nose, tongue and bottom lip, and her fur is the second thing I've ever airbrushed. The ears are carved foam, and I made the resin hinges for the moving jaw too.
While I'm very pleased with her for my first head, there are a lot of things I'll be doing differently next time. It's been an expensive learning curve and while she's not perfect, I'm happy to leave her at this point and use the experience to move on to other parts of her to finish and then other projects. And eventually a re-make of her one day.
