My dear Octophant, his final design prior to my tattooist, the tallented OddBoy, making his own version as this as his idea of what I want. I now proudly have him tattooed on my upper right arm.
"An Octophant is a mythical chimera of cephalopod and pachyderm derivation. Never seen by a living human soul; only alluded to in the most obscure and off-key songs of the narwhals."
Octophant has always been a dear mythical beast to me, a joke among friends and it's meaning to me is to celebrate the strange and wonderful things that are "The Improbable" and "Should not beeee..."
Having lost four of the most amazing people in my life, each one more bizzar and beautiful souls than the last, this design is the blue print for the tattoo I plan to get in their memory. "To live. To love", is what they tought me and what I intend to do for the rest of my life as I hold their memory in my heart always.
