Gosh I never thought of that! I would tape record sound off the radio or other tapes or people's voices outside of that but to try the television did not occur to me. Maybe I would have accepted that I was a weirdo years earlier.
But I never seem to give up on futile communication, even with all the frustrating responses I tend to get to these comic strips! I still had people, seeing this one, getting the impression that I just didn't know how to find good music.-

Actually had this kind of conversation, back when me and my brother would hold a tape recorder up to the TV because we liked the music from Mega Man.
I learned to not bother answering the question, nobody gets it.
