Ritona, seated, in her astral form. The form is entirely symbolic; sky above, water below and the sometimes treacherous path through the latter immediately below her. This is how she first appears to Gordon and to any traveler trying to teleport into her domain of control. From her the beat of her drum will determine if they will be able to pass or not. Travelers who anger her may be cast into the abyss to either side.

She will also sometimes appear this way to particularly devout followers and those of her priesthood on the moment of important visions or their deaths. Here she can either teleport the former to where they need to be or move the latter more easily on to the afterlife.
