Part of a duo of drawings I did of these two Pokemon. I couldn't decide if I wanted to draw something simple and cartoony or something more detailed and realistic so I ended up doing both!

This one has a fancy backstory. Ok so I was watching a cute video of someone tickling a sphynx kitten when I realized... yeah Mew looks surprising like a infant of this cat breed. I also noticed that Mewtwo themself sorta looks like an adult sphynx cat (though with more weird mutant features). So yeah I wanted to try to put that idea on paper. Notably I wasn't going for like perfect realism here more "closer to real" so if you do put some criticism in your feedback keep that in mind.
Anyway I had fun with this! I took some design liberties with Mewtwo in particular because sphynx cats often come with a point coloration especially if they have darker skin. So yeah I kinda went with that as my interpretation of mewtwo as a real living creature. Mew as expected is your "raw chicken" type sphynx cat though I did give him some strands of white fluff on the tail just because I thought it looked nice. Not everything I do is for a big complex reason!
