This image has a backstory: after commissioning Tumult to draw my sona which you can see here I thought about the fact I never actually draw this sona in my more grotesque detailed style. Since I was planning this beach drawing already I decided instead of have 2 different sona drawings I just mix the ideas together.

Did a lot of experimenting here with soft shading and background elements. Also did a bit of practicing on drawing fat bellies because I'm still not that great at it.

PS: I never did post a ref of that alien chicken on here but its name is Cluck McCoolGuy and she is my pet/provider of eggs. You can see what she usually looks like here.

PPS: Yes that's a tentacle coming out of the tail, they're usually stuffed in there behind the big green star. the ref I made a while back was only for like character specific info rather than too much on anatomy so I didn't bother listing that. I will eventually have a kaiju stat page that will list those + other things.

PPPS: I have no idea who those 2 other people are I promise I was careful not to step on them though.
