Hello all, I am the author of "For My Answer"

I started the idea when I was in seventh grade during Junior High School and since then it has grown to be one of my best pieces of work since starting to write fan fiction and draw art. I am taking this time to introduce to you a bit of my story and what it's about here in this section of my profile. The story is based upon a popular game "Armored Core" and as such is a fan fiction of the game. Though some of situations in the fiction are going to be based off events that have taken place in the game, the story itself is completely from scratch and written in such a way to tie into the storyline of Armored Core.

I please ask that you respect my request to not use any of my characters without my permission. It took a long time to get them right and I do not want them abused by any means.

With that said, and pretty much the only thing that I can think of right now. I present to you the beginning of For my Answer:

For My Answer: Prologue

The planet is in a decrepit and decaying state. Pollution from not only human habitation, but from the hazardous waste given off by Kojima particles released during the LYNX War, has caused the surface of the earth to become virtually inhospitable. The remaining corporations from the Pax Economica formed a new group called "The League of Ruling Companies" or "The League" for short. In desperate need of a solution, they build airborne habitats called "Cradles" to house a majority of the populace - safeguarding them from the contaminated surface below. Some however, are forced to live on the surface. A few NEXT pilots have learned of the corporations' dark secrets and formed the rebel group known as ORCA to wage war against the League. Piloting the cutting-edge Armored Cores known as NEXTs, these pilots are thrust into the middle of the conflict between the corporations and ORCA. And because of this war upon the Earth's surface, each faction now controls super weapons known as "Arms Forts" that the factions must battle against.

The League of Ruling Companies, also known as the League, are a group of corporations that have banded together to control the worlds economical stand point. Formed from the ashes of the Pax Economica, on paper, the League seeks to preserve peace and order within the corporate society. But it doesn't take long for the grim reality of what the Leagues' true ambitions and goals are to come to light. Under their rule, the planet has fallen into rapid over development and pollution. 'The Cradle System' is a series of floating platforms, able to house entire cities upon them. These platforms, developed by the League, are able to house and protect millions from the nearly uninhabitable surface below. But despite the appearance that the League is a united body of good-willed companies, the corporations of the League continue to fight amongst each other, causing more damage to the earth and making the League little more than a shell of what it was supposed to be. Members of the League included those of Global Armaments-After the LYNX war. GA was the dominant corporation during that time of struggle and strife, but lost power within the League to Omer and have since then begun to operate on their own, often allying with the rebuilt Bernard and Felix Foundation or BFF.

But just like any supposedly good faction, it has its enemies. Line Ark, the largest surface-based power, is a maritime city state formed by those who oppose the League and the Cradle system. They advocate and demonstrate democratic ideals and seem to be fighting for a just cause. But in a world were no one could be trusted, who's to say. Their motto of "accepting all who whish to enter" has attracted a large number of unfavorable types, including some of which are surviving LYNX. Known as SHADOWS, they are believed to fight in older but highly match able NEXTs and pose a great threat to the League. This, in turn has mixed emotion floating through the community, as some of the LYNX have come with good intentions that are over shadowed by those that wish to fight for nothing but bloodshed which has resulted in the slow decaying of their society and few of their original ideals remain intact.

The ORCA are a mysterious rebel group that operates outside of the Leagues rules and regulations. Their aim is unknown but they oppose the League's Out of Sight, Out of Mind approach to handling the earth's ever growing environmental problems and damage done to the planet. They employ highly trained, deadly, and merciless LYNX which those who have fought against them have reported "have no emotion what so ever during combat." Along with a powerful Military strength that can and does match the League's, they're led by a group of LYNX who refer to themselves as the Original Five. The purpose or means the Original Five serve is still unknown to those who fight them. But one is reported to be a original Raven, a precursor to the LYNX of today.

Glassy “Akane” Keskon: The pilot of Kyoko II, she is nicknamed “Brilliant Red” by those that fight her on the battlefield. Lost as a baby during the National Dismantlement War, she grew up to be the worlds youngest LYNX. At age fourteen she joined CrowsNest, a smaller satellite faction of LYNX from Collared. She and her two younger sisters fight now as “See-ers of the truth” which most of those who fought them find out, they are the only ones who actually White Glints actual name. The blue fox fights for what she believes in, not for what she is paid to do.

Nanashi “Blood Rose” Keskon: At birth, she was given only 24 hours to live due a disease that the doctors were unable to make any sense of. At exact 11:45pm the next day her heart stopped due to a blood clot that lodged itself in her third heart chamber. But by some miracle, the clot passed through and the blue haired girl made it through. The doctors decided to name her Red Rose because of the color of her right eye. A condition led to her enhanced right eye sight, which later on became both eyes, as her left eye became infected with the unknown sickness. She is the middle sister to Glassy and is a top LYNX in the Collared system. Known as “Blood Rose” she never goes on any mission without her twin sister. Her AC NEXT name is VIX and is highly unmatchable. Like her sister, the blue vixen fights for what she loves and believes in, not for what she is paid to do.

Mika “Blazer” Keskon: Twin to Nanashi, she fights for her sisters, not for Collared. Where ever they go she goes without question. Usually silent when in mission briefings, Mika has only been known to speak to her sisters and to those she strikes down on the battle field. "Honor before death, I will not take a life unless I am ordered to by my sisters, or as I see fit" is what she says to those that question her kill record. The question does not lie with how many kills on the battlefield she has, but the means behind them. Her AC NEXT known as Overwatch is highly advanced and is always nearby when either or both of her older sisters are around. No pictures of any of their AC NEXTs are available. Only eyewitness accounts and the carnage of the enemies they strike down remains.

The three of them are in search of a NEXT LYNX. The pilot of White Glint is unknown, but it is hinted that they are a Raven from a former war. The gender is and has been in dispute since the disappearance of White Glint after the LYNX war five years ago. It was also seen during the Dismantlement War ten years ago. This LYNX, believed to be a RAVEN, is responsible for the fall of the Rayleonard and Bernard and Felix Foundation, although the latter returns to full size after getting support from the newer GA. Glassy and her sisters Nanashi and Mika search for the LYNX of White Glint, in hopes of finding out where the three of them come from.
