Just a leopard White Mage who is interested in furry and technology.
I like to attend furry conventions. The whole list is here.
I also like to staff furry conventions. Currently I'm staff at Anthrocon, Eurofurence, Midwest FurFest, and BronyCon. I used to be staff at FurFright and Furry Connection North.
Other than that, I like to write open source software. I also think that Amazon Web Services and OpenStack are fun.
My opinions are my own.
Where are you staying?
The main hotel.
What day are you getting there?
How are you traveling?
I am flying in from Philly.
How is the best way to find you?
Look for the guy dressed up as a White Mage. :-)
Are there any panels you might be attending?
If I can, I'll be attending:
What do you look like?
5'10", about 180 pounds, shaved head.
Will you be suiting?
I do not own a fursuit, so no.
Do you do free art?
I am not an artist, sorry!
Do you do badges?
Same answer: I am not an artist. :-)
Can I talk to you?
Sure, feel free to say hi! "Wanna grab a beer" is also acceptable.
Since I hate awkward silences, it's helpful to have some things to talk about. Here's a handy list:
Can I give you stuff?
How long are you going?
I will leave Monday morning.
Will you be performing?
No, I am not a performer.
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Around the public areas, attending various panels.
What/where will you be eating?
Usually whatever food is present at the hotel, sans meat and poultry.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
Depends if I already have plans or not!
Can I visit your room?
Eh, I won't have anything going on there. Might as well hang out in the public areas.
Can I take your picture?
Last time/last con/last meet/last chat we talked so much and now you forgot my name? Why???
I am truly sorry, but I am pretty awful with names. It helps if you can remind me where we previously met or what we talked about.
It also helps if you make sure your conbadge is conspicious, so I can address you by your name.
Will you tell me your room-number and can I surprise visit you?
How about no.
I have a personal question for the convention. May I ask you that?
Sure, I guess. No promises on my answering, though!
