Wow its not a dragon, amazing

I don't even remember why I started doing this? I get so into doing things I... forget everything else.

Well it led to making a vexel heraldic gryphon anyway.

A redo of the very old abomination of the previous Dyrem sigil- http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/262/0/a/BUKAW\_by\_invaderjodie.png done in 2009. I can not only actually USE this version anywhere I want it, it actually looks like heraldry and not... just awful.

I also studied an awful lot more heraldry to make it, trying to get it as close as I possibly could. And then I remembered how completely awful making these things with Paths and anchor points are. So many fiddly details you need to get JUST right. But I like how it came out regardless

Gryphon is made up of 6 layers, each with their own layer mask

Probably took about 2 and a half hours. I forgot what time I started, as per usual u_u

Almost entirely pen tool, though I did cheat and use the eraser/ brush at some points on the layer masks
