Instead more dragons happened.

Mildly spoilery title, for those who aren't 100% caught up in the TV series, but its not really major and you kinda need to be on series 3 to even know what Astapor is anyway.

I just thought it fit, especially with all 3 in there

One thing I'm glad about in season 3 is that the dragons are not cute and adorable anymore- they are the terrible murderbeasts the dragons SHOULD be. I have a lot of anger regarding the entire TV series Qarth arc in general, TBH. But the cute little babies really contrasts with the complete monsters they are.

Although I admit I didn't look up any kind of reference of their "official" models, as I mainly wanted to do my own thing with them. That and they still haven't really shown a lot of Rhaegal and Viserion.... I get Drogon is kinda the "main" one but they're all actually mentioned as being in the scene pretty equally in the books. (At least they'll be forced to do it in.... at least 2 seasons. Depends what the hell they do with the timeline problems of the 4th and 5th book). That, and I didn't really want to get caught up in the sheer amount of detail in their 3D models? I think they have a lot of spikes everywhere now and that was going to be a pain I:

Messed around with layer masks in order to get nicely blended Multiply/overlay shading that I can adjust the colours to easily, because I didn't really want to paint each individual colour layer. Took a bit to really get around the fact that you can't rely on colour dropping to blend nicely.
