Ghost and Vikki's snowy peril by Ghostfox

Ghost and Vikki's snowy peril

Ghostfox

With the new year fast approaching, I figured I would do one more pic for 2021. And what better way than to draw none other than two gorgeous fox girls Vikki Rubbervixen and Ghostfox. Yep. Vikki picture number seven is going to be an interesting one. I decided to do some peril. I usually draw characters willingly in some interesting situations like quicksand or mud. But this time, I went with something a bit more unwilling for our heroines. I decided to go with some clingy snow. Yep. This was influnced by Kionowinterfox's commissioned works of their characters in some really interesting snow. This whole year, I have drawn a whole lot of Vikki Rubbervixen. I have seven pictures that feature Vikki. And thanks to her, I'm now into latex. And I also love the idea of rubberskins and enchanted latex. I guess you could say that Ghost's swimming costume has some sort of enchantment to it. And I decided to make it that way for my male and female forms. Vikki is one of my favorite characters and is really fun to draw, especially with another fur. And I have a lot more fun ideas for Vikki and my character. But I might tone that down. I might do either Ghost or Vikki solo in some fun situation. But I will do other characters just to balance it out. I did it all while listening to some really amazing music from Moving Shadow. Here's some good examples of their amazing music and I highly recommend you listen to them:

Story:
Ghostfox and Vikki were on the run from their captors after being used as test subjects for some experiments. The weather was cold and snowy, but that didn't bother the foxes. They ran deeper into the snow-covered forest and they stumbled into some strange snow.
"Oh!"
"Whoa! What the heck?!"
They both sink up to their knees into the strange snow.
"Gasp! Oh my!"
"What the heck is this? This snow doesn't look normal."
They both tried to get their legs out of the snow, but their struggling causes them to sink up to their hips.
"Oh no! It's quicksnow!"
"It feels like it. The snow is also clingy."
"What?! It can't be!"
"It is. I have a feeling that some of this forest could have this stuff."
"That's terrible!"
They struggle and sink up to their waists and then the clingy snow climbs up to their bellies.
"It feels like the snow is alive and it has a tight grip on us."
"It's getting harder to move around in this stuff. Can you analyze this Ghostfox?"
"I'll try to Vikki."
They struggle deeper up to their breasts and then up to their shoulders. And Vikki is even more scared.
"Now we're really trapped! What do we do Ghostfox?"
"I don't know Vikki. The snow has a good grip on us."
"We're doomed! Tell me that you found a way out of this stuff!"
Ghost is done analyzing the snow. They are both buoyant and are still afloat in the sinking snow.
"All right. The snow is adhesive and clings on to anything, including latex. And it's hard to spot due to it's color. It takes a lot of strength to get out of this stuff, but there can be some things that can float onto it, like sticks, logs or ladders. So, it's like being in a bog of mud or quicksand or clay."
"So we're afloat for now?"
"Yes. We need to be lucky to get out of this."
"But it's hard to move in this. How can we get out?"
"Gentle movements Vikki. Don't panic."
"Okay. I'll try."
They both move very slowly and gently to escape the snow, with their efforts, they escape the snow, with their bodies caked.
"Phew. Thanks Ghostfox."
"No problem Vikki."
They hug and leave the area, avoiding the clingsnow and somewhere safe.

I also thought up some other endings with these two. Don't worry, they'll both be fine.
Ending B.
Ghost and Vikki are still in the snow. The weather turns bad and it starts to snow heavily.
"Oh shoot! It's starting to snow heavily!"
"Oh no! We'll never get out of this! We're in trouble."
"Yeah. Doesn't look like we'll get out of this one."
"Sigh. Well, I guess this is goodbye Ghostfox."
"Yeah. I guess so."
They both get buried by the accumulating snow.

Ending C.
They both start to sinking up to the tops of their shoulders.
"Oh no! The snow is starting to devour us!"
"Oh shoot."
"Can you get your arms out?"
"I can't get my arms out."
They struggle and they sink up to their necks and then to their chins.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye."
"Yep."
"I'll cherish all the fun moments we had mmmmph!"
"I will to Vikki. Mmmph."
They both wake up and scream.
"Oh my gosh. It was just a dream."
"Yeah."
They both hug it out and return to sleep.

Technical:
The toughest part of this was finding a color for the snow since Krita's color picker doesn't go outside the window like Photoshop's color picker does. So I played around with the color settings trying to find a perfect color for the snow. And I found it. And also trying to draw Vikki with the backdrop being all snowy would be considered tough since Vikki is an arctic fox. But I have a technique when coloring things like snow or mud. I color the mud and then I make a darker color to fill in the inner part of the mud. The trees could also be a different color. I looked up some trees in winter to find the proper color for the trees themselves. Usually they are a darker brown in winter time, but I went with the natural brown color. But I did okay with this one. I hope you like it Vikki. This is my seventh picture for you. And I also would like to thank Kionowinterfox for the fun snow ideas. I would also like to think that Vikki would enjoy being stuck in this. I hope 2022 is a good year. But then again, I doubt it would be good. I'm fearful for this coming year. I will explain what 2021 went for me. But now enjoy this last picture of 2021.
