"...Creeeeaaaak!" the sound coming from outside the room perked the cub's ears into attention. Not really sure about hearing the sound at all as his mind was still groggily trying to wake up and stand on alert, the warm blankets, the silence and Sammy where his only companions that night, eyes still shut for they felt heavy... it must be very early morning or very late at night...

"...Creeeeeeeaaaak! cruuuuuuck" slightly louder and clearer this time, the eerie noise springs the cub up, eyes now open wide trying to distinguish anything in the darkness, he gulps fearing what the noise might be, as he's now sure the noise comes from inside the house. Sascha's step parents had gone away for the weekend leaving him in charge of the house so he was sure it wasn't them, the crinkle of his padding as he got up was the only noise he could perceive now... all around were shadows without shape of an empty room... he gulps as his paws search along the bed, finally touching something soft he pulls Sammy into a close hug, searching once more under the pillow with his free hand he finds the other needed item... the torch.

"uuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUHHHUUUUuuuuuuuhhhUUUUU!" A new eerie sound with a soft clatter gives a shiver down Sascha's spine before he can turn on the light, even Sammy trembles at the unknown sound... could it be a ghost? a friend playing a bad prank at night?... a ghost?!

Sascha gulps once more "d-d-don't w--worry S-s-Sammy...i- I'm s- sure its n- no-not a gh-gho-gh-ghost..." Sascha says in a shakey voice, not sure if to believe himself... with a loud [CLick!] the room illuminates from the torch in his paws, yet the shadows behind his toys also becomes clearer... he can't help but shiver once more with his ears lowering in fear "..s--s-see..n--no gh-ghos-ghosts..." *Sascha decides to step into the darkness beginning the search for the unknown noise...

Unknown to him, the little prankster is a fluffy looking ghost making funny faces right behind them. Not an evil ghost, just a little mischief-maker, having a blast this night, for scaring a cub just for fun

Is the Ghost real or just the lil cubs imagination. We'll never know.
