Chaaaaarge!

Ghostbear

Inside of his room, a little cyberpunk freelancer was getting ready for his mission. Carefully he slipped into his clothes, some comfy cargo pants for maximum movement, a warm hooded sweater with lots of room in the front pocket and his cool looking leather collar.
Once again he checked his equipment, then he loaded up.
A lightweight, but sturdy polymer katana, a special grenade, filled with a volatile liquid, a couple of glowstick, should he need them and his high tech wrist computer.
The little device was full of gadgets and supplied him with the necessary mission updates and scanner info.
"Are you ready to go, my friend?"
Sascha's companion, the long-tailed lynx Sammy, seemed to nod once. Never big on words.
"Alright then, let's go kick some... uhmm..aaa...backsides."
Blushing a bit the little bear hybrid stuffed his favorite plushie into a bag and slung it over his shoulder … with the lynx plushie peeking out of the bag.
'The cat's not out of the bag' Sascha mused '… but still in it'. Suddenly he had to giggle, breaking his concentration for the first time, being fully immersed into his playing pretend before.
Still giggling he padded into the garden behind the while, then concentrated again.
I didn't take long for the young bear hybrid to be back into play mode.
Suddenly the plastic toy sword became a razor sharp polymer katana again and an old gameboy the taped to his wrist transformed into a high end computer. The sippy cup filled with warm cocoa that served both as a drink and a play item turned into a grenade again and it didn't matter to him, that his step father's far too big leather collar he was wearing instead of his normal playful nylon one fitted him perfectly again.
Hiding behind a tree he spotted his target, surrounded by only a few bodyguards.
"He can take them, Sammy. Just hang one."
His plushie's expression seemed to turn into an "I don't know if that's a bright idea" one as Sascha jumped out of his hiding spot.
He took his "grenade" into one paw, raised his toy katana above his head … then charged at invisible enemies with a loud and playful yell.

Squeee ^.^
Playing pretend. I did that a lot as a child and somehow I think I would still enjoy doing it now.
So why not playing pretend as my fursona's parallel, darker side. Of course in a playful, cute and innocent way.
I was glad to be able to commission atimos atimos again … and he did a great job at it :)
Thank you so much, my friend, for this adorable picture.
I really love it!

That eager face only little kids have when playing pretend.
