Another day, another teaser for the art and writing of The Devil’s Collection.

Another piece by the talented , and a personal favorite of mine. No real reason, or bias inherent in that, I assure you. Moving on, I hope you enjoy today’s teaser! It contains one of the greatest characters in the collection, if I do say so myself.

You turn, and see a... Some sort of hyena thing, sitting behind what you assume is the library's front desk. They're anthropomorphic, but definitely not a human like you, because there's no way that's a costume.
The creature's covered in gold jewelry, wearing gold glasses, and is draped in brown and black flowing silks, quite the contrast to your stark nakedness (which you've only now noticed, oops). They're nose deep in a book covered in strange symbols, and their snout sports a very bored expression. There's no doubt that this beast was addressing you, and yet at the moment they're not even bothering to look in your direction. Weird as all this is, it doesn't feel much weirder than anything else you've seen since you woke up, so you walk over to the desk. After a minute of standing in uncomfortable silence, you clear your throat, and the eyes behind the glasses finally look in your direction.
"Can I help you?" The hyena's tone implies that they already know the answer.
