This one was a long time in the making, but well worth the wait.

Before I became a member of FA and the furry community, I was an avid comic book collector. And one of my favorite comic artists is David Gonzales, the creator of the Homies (http://www.homies.tv). The Homies are centered around four Chicano buddies who have grown up in the Mexican American barrio (neighborhood) of "Quien Sabe", (who knows) located in East Los Angeles. I loved the series. I even have an autographed poster from David Gonzales himself.

Earlier this year, I asked Demona to draw my twin kitties, Lokelani and Sekai, dressed up as two of the Homiegirls, Bouncy and Babygirl. The trick was, I didn't specifically say which twin would be dressed as which Homiegirl, and that was on purpose.

So as you look at the image you see before you, you can't see the telltale flower tattoo that tells you who's who. Is that Lokelani on the left dressed as Babygirl? Is that Sekai on the right dressed as Bouncy? Or is it Kai dressed as Babygirl, and Lani as Bouncy? You can't tell from the way they're standing. And I don't think they're going to tell you who is who.

Regardless, the Anela twins pull off the look masterfully. I love how this turned out. So much that I may do more of this idea of my charcters dressed up as Homie characters.
