Putting this in my tattoo folder, but it isn't really a tattoo. Just done in the style I've been drawing my tattoo designs in lately. My friend Jas requested "some nature-y tree stuff". And then this happened! Was meant to look like fall leaves, but it also looks like fire. Happy accidents.
Inked with Microns, colored with Copic, highlights are Copic matte white.

second: i really, really love. not only because WOW A COOL THING YOU MADE FOR ME but I love looking at all the twists and turns that this drawing has. i like how you rendered the leaves without using the hard black ink lines. it really looks ethereal, like the tree is sprouting up and growing right before your eyes. my other favorite part is looking at how you used linear hatching to create deeper shades along with the marker tones themselves. so cool, man. so cool.
i think if one day i actually settle on a tattoo i want on my body (i've been wanting one for years but can't decide on what, exactly) i'd like you to do it. you're great and your art is great and i love how much it's evolved since you've started tattooing.

Neat! And yeah, I kind of took the leaves as like a mixing of the elements sort of meaning.
