This needs some explaining.

Ok so a while ago I made a chart showing how Ari's energy levels effect his appearance, and for the most part the first three haven't changed. Normal is still normal, high energy still comes from when he gets a boost of energy from caffeine or other stuff like that, and low energy indicates he's sick.

But the fourth is new.

For a while I've been working out the origins of the species Ari gets his abilities from, and to sum it all up think of basically a sentient planet core made of pure energy that ripped itself apart to create new life. It is a truly neutral force, only caring for the survival of itself and its creations. Because it is directly connected to Ari thanks to the energy he shares with it, the core can possess him and use him as a temporary vessel.

The core is not a deus ex machina lol. In fact it is quite the opposite, it views Ari as being just as disposable as every other creature in the multiverse because he is not purely made from its energy. It only uses Ari as a vessel while stripping him of any energy it can get out of him so it can sustain itself. Sure Ari gets to feel the incredible rush of power that comes with being host to the core, but once the possession is over he takes days to recover from it.
