This is a special digivolution inspired in Matrix Evo style from Tamers season: it's called "Link Digivolution". If the D-Mobi or digispirits doesn't work or they are destroyed, both human and digimon spirits can be fusioned directly via physical contact, joining one hand with the partner and with no using devices. It's due to the digispirit energy leaves its scent into the human and it allows a special digivolution in case of emergency. Link Digivolution is not stronger like Digispirit one but it's so useful to survive.

When Takeshi Korinosenshi and Nanokorimon use the Link Digivolution, Speedramon appears. This digimon is capable to run 7x faster than an athlete and he still have ice abilities from Nano. Speedramon was inspired in marathon athletes from Ancient Greece.
