Fanart Plush: Gible by FuzziMutt

Fanart Plush: Gible

FuzziMutt

So. This was my first "real" plushie commission a couple years back. Also a first in trying to plush-ify an existing character. It was fun and challenging. Gible is one of the derpiest Pokemon ever.

  • Measures about 12-13" (~32cm) tall and fat and huggable, made of anti-pill fleece and stiff felt for teeth.
  • Doesn't quite sit or stand... but something in the middle.... because he's front-heavy and his legs are too far back. XD
  • Has a beanie gut and feet (plastic pellets) to help weight and stable him a little.
  • I know. His arms are way too long. I think I made them to wrap around forward to hug his belly/jaw.
  • Early attempt at applique! The tongue was easy... The eyes didn't happen because I didn't have the skill at the time. They're just topstitched.
  • Yes, "He." Note the fin notch, pokemon trainers.

I don't sell fanart plushes directly so you won't find such things in my store, but I do take just about any request on a commission-basis. XD
Gible belongs to Nintendo/Gamefreak.

Very cute! Probably the best Gible plush I've seen. He's such an awkward shape, I can't even draw him right let alone plush him! I'm curious to know how much this would cost to commission now? I can't afford it but it'd be a nice to know for the future maybe.

Aw, thank you! Goodness, this is such an old plush, it would look MUCH better nowadays, lol.
This particular guy was VERY large and probably around $75. I'd started working on a smaller, more compact 8" (20cm) version for an upcoming convention; and it would probably be $45-50 or so. I may finish it up and see how it turns out. :3
