Comic Drawing Dog

Fussy

As a kid, I was a huge fan of Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants series. In the third grade, it's what inspired me to want to draw, make my own comics, and even make flip books. Even though at the time, I didn't even know I was making small animations. I made my own two page animations like in his books, an learned that I could make these animations even longer by adding more pages. This is not an exaggeration when I say, since the 3rd to 9th grade. I had made either at least a comic, or flip book at least once per day. Some comics being multiple pages long. Talking 10-20 pages front, and back. They weren't all that good, but at least I had the passion to work everyday on creating something to share. But around the 9th grade, I started to loose the time, and passion to make these flip books, and comics. But doodled, and drew almost daily in my free time. Ever since I've been out of school, it's now every once in awhile. I wish I can get that drive again to always be creating something, like I did when I was a kid. So for this year, I really want to start working harder to produce more content to share. I want to work on being more consistent, and improving on my drawing skills. Hopefully even making comics, and maybe animations whenever I get the hang of it. 2016 kinda stunk, so let's all hope 2017 will be a much better year for not just me. But for everyone.
