Artist's note: So that thing where I said I'd upload my digital sketches before my traditional ones? Yeah, chronologically that makes zero sense, so SURPRISE! Old-ass art from back when I was in high school and when most my OCs were conceived and developed.

I honestly had some fun pulling these up seeing how far I've progressed over years and years of refinement. These first several days are going to be pain thanks to bad anatomy, bad context, and bad dialogue, but we live and we learn.

Piece info: Anyways, this first piece was my first "big" drawing using a proper thick sketchbook instead of reusing a lined notebook paper which I had done for years prior. Some of you may recognize this character. She's my experimental demon hyena, Jennifer "Black Rose" Parthorn. Her whole conception was "I want an anthro with spots and demonic features who wanders arid climates with a Mad Max'd car." Her backstory is still a blippin' mess admittedly, but it was never about that to me. It was about drawing an experimental demon hyena, and she's stuck since.
