I wrote this back on 10/2/2008.

Obviously, I had some things I was working through during this period, a lot of things.
The recent passing of someone brought this song back to mind as well as the feelings from way back then, though with an aged perspective that this pain helped build. I want anyone who might be listening to understand that I am not posting this out of some spiteful intent, but rather, this was part of my experience, my feelings, and the portion of my life that it effected. I am entitled to my feelings, thoughts and experience and to grieve in my own way. We are creatures of complexity and the twists we take and lessons we learn are no less complex. Our existence is both tragic and beautiful.
