It's really cool! I made something like this out of yarn for my dice once :3

      Thank you!

Nice! Did you knit or crochet it? :3

The first dice pouch I made was knitted, but that was my first try with double pointed needles. Although it looked okay, I wasn't too found of it, since I lost one of my smaller dice from this pouch. Knitted was too loose for tiny dice - they simply slipped through the stitches^^;. (I was working with sock yarn on 2,5 needles, but still...) It would work with coins and such.
A couple of years later, I've crocheted one. :) The base was crocheted really tight to avoid losing small dice. Then I continued with double crochet (stitches?) to make it nicer to touch, and then I've finished it with some easier lace elements. Really basic. I think I am going to make at least one for my boyfriend as soon as I've found out which dice color he prefers. XD We started playing Pen&Paper and now he needs to buy his own dice. XD

I was going to recommend a smaller gauge needle, at first but wow that 2.5 is already small. But! I'm glad to hear that your second attempt worked! Knitting I can barely do but crochet is still a mystery to me. There's a bunch of cool things people have done with it though. C:

Knitting is the only craft I think I am fairly good at. :3 But sewing, especially with a machine is something I've never managed to pull off, I don't know. :( That's why I adore artists who are really good at it. X3 Crochetting is a bit well... tedious I think. But learning it is something woth doing! Sorry for the rambling :'D

There's definitely a few starting tricks to machine sew (like how to thread the machine, sewing fabrics wrong side together, etc). And then garment production unlocks a whole new level of tricks and chronological steps. @o@

But I agree, totally things worth learning. C:

Oh yes! My mother tried to teach me, but machine sewing is still a mystery to me. :S
