Happy Pokémon Day!
I was worried I wouldn’t get any art done for today, so I ended up making this post on my main Tumblr. But I managed to draw this after all! Gen VI is my favourite of all generations so far, but I wanted to draw my favourite Gen I Pokémon for this!
Pokémon is very special to me and I’m glad it’s such a huge part of my life. ♥

aww both are sweet :D great job on the style here. Yes I will highlight that since the style flows well and feels like it could be official art but its obviously not trying to mimic the Ken Sugimori style used in the actual official art. Basically my convoluted way of saying this looks rather nice!
